This is an officially licensed, one-hour arrangement album based on Koji Kondo's score to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from the Nintendo 64 video game system.
The original game was released in 1998 on cartridge. The album is arranged/composed by Eric Buchholz, a maestro of video game concert tours such as The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses.The album's artwork was done by Ryan Brinkerhoff and includes a die-cut Ocarina window on the jacket's front and gatefold featuring both Light or Dark sides. The quality of the packaging on this record is unrivaled and is stunning. The audio quality is superb as well. The 180 gram weight put this release over the top.
This record was tracked live at Studio 1 in Bratislava by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra and was mastered by Infrasonic.
